Weekend Approver 
Serve Legal are hiring a new part-time Weekend Approver to support our Operations team. This is a logistical role, with responsibility for the efficient service delivery for clients, which include household names within the retail & hospitality sectors. Serve Legal provide compliance auditing services, similar to "mystery shopping", focusing mainly on age-verification and the provision of allergen information. The 'audits' to each site are completed by a network of 'auditors', a 4000+ team of casual workers across the UK & Ireland, mostly aged 18 & 19 due to the nature of the age-verification work.  
 
The role involves processing and thoroughly checking submitted reports, accurately and in good time, following up with auditors to get more information where necessary. Approvers report to the Weekend Supervisor who issues clear instructions and sets achievable deadlines for the completion of tasks that day. The role involves working designated weekends, typically 6 hours each day starting from 9am. The Serve Legal values of accuracy, resilience and reliability are key to this role. A Weekend Approver must be committed, flexible and computer literate with good WiFi connection at home. 
 
The contracted hours will be a minimum of 16 hours per month, though typically this will involve at least 2 weekends per month, working 6 hours across both Saturday & Sunday. There will be opportunities to increase hours when volume is high, which may include hours during the week with additional responsibility and/or completing holiday cover. 
 
The salary is £9.90 per hour (£11.05 in London), and the start date is ASAP, no later than mid-June. Applications will be accepted up to 27th May 2022.
